We use traditional design practices to create the kind of
imagery that resonates with people. Graphic design enables
control over emotion – a strong factor in marketing.
Artwork is the foundation of all design-related projects,
from simple adverts to animation and website layouts.
Good creative artwork can be used effectively to
communicate your brand and promote your products and services.
You may be focused on internet promotion, but eye-catching
graphic design is still essential for any successful marketing
campaign.
Graphic artwork is used for advertising, packaging,
flyers, posters, leaflets, brochures, promotions, point-of-sale
materials and more.

The phrase Creative Industries (or sometimes Creative
Economy) refers to a set of interlocking industry sectors,
and are often cited as being a growing part of the global
economy. The creative industries are often defined as those
that focus on creating and exploiting or providing business-to-business
creative services such as Advertising, Print-media and promotional
product industry related services.
The publisher usually controls the advertising and
other marketing tasks, but may subcontract various aspects
of the process described above. In smaller companies, editing,
proofreading and layout might be done by Outsourcing without
jeopardizing the traditional symbiotic relationships between
the four activities of printing, publishing, distribution
and retail.
When a final text is agreed upon, the next phase
is design. This may include artwork being commissioned or
confirmation of layout. In publishing, the word "art"
also indicates photographs. This process prepares the work
for printing through processes such as typesetting, Vectorisation
of art, template placing, Clipping path, Color Separation
etc.
The activities of typesetting, page layout, the production
of negatives, plates from the negatives and, for hardbacks,
preparation of brasses for the spine legend and imprint
are now all computerized. Prepress computerization evolved
mainly in about the last twenty years of the 20th century.
If the work is to be distributed electronically, the final
files are saved as formats appropriate to the target operating
systems of the hardware used for reading. These may include
.jpg, .gif, .PDF, doc file formats. |
